I would like to make you aware of the opening of a Professorship in Quantum Chemistry/Computational Chemistry at the University of Southern Denmark.
The Department of Physics and Chemistry of the University of Southern Denmark, invites applications for a full professorship starting approximately 1 August, 2008.
The successful applicant will be responsible for research and teaching in quantum and computational chemistry. A solid background and broad experience in modern quantum theory and computational chemistry/simulation techniques is essential. The successful applicant must document research at an international level, as well as the ability to collaborate with other areas of chemistry. The faculty is committed to strengthening the computational science environment in the Institute of Physics and Chemistry, with both hardware and personnel.
The successful applicant will participate in the department's teaching areas at all levels. The teaching qualifications of the applicant will constitute an important part of the general evaluation.
