the National Laboratory for Heavy-Ion Research, a member institute of the Helmholtz-Society of German Research
Centers, invites applications for an EU funded position of Post-Doctoral
Research fellow in Experimental Nuclear Physics
Ref. 1200-05.59
The work will be related to the future European fragmentation facility, NUSTAR@FAIR. The main task is to design and
construct and test the transmission detectors for slow down radioactive beams from the low energy branch of the Super-
FRS.
The successful applicant will be encouraged to pursue nuclear physics research within the g-spectroscopy group.
Experience in work with radioactive beams and communication skills will be anticipated. Applicants should possess a
PhD in experimental nuclear physics or expect to receive it in the near future.
The post initially is for a period of one up to two years, commencing as soon as possible.
